First annual Earth Day Comedy Improv Night

The DC Greens, in cooperation with the improv teams from:

Mayfield Secondary School
Robert F Hall Catholic High School
Orangeville District Secondary School

invite everyone to Bolton’s first annual Earth Day Comedy Improv Night on Thursday, April 22, 2010, from 7pm - 9pm.

Admission is FREE for everyone under 18 and $5 for all others.

The DC Greens will be in Bolton at the Caledon Home Show April 16 to 18, 2010. The home show is hosted by the Caledon Chamber of Commerce and will be at the Bolton Arena.

Come see us at booth 47 to meet representatives of the Green Party in Dufferin-Caledon and let us know what issues matter to you.

Annual General Meeting 2010

Party Members and the public are invited to join us at the Orangeville Library, Mill Street Branch (1 Mill Street at Mill Street and Broadway), Downstairs Meeting Room, on Saturday, January 9, at 1:00 pm for our Dufferin-Caledon Federal and Provincial Green Party AGMs.

Our special guest speaker will be Mike Schreiner, newly elected leader of the Green Party of Ontario. A leading advocate for independent businesses and sustainable communities, Mike Schreiner is well known for his leadership in co-founding the award-winning Local Food Plus organization and brings a proven track record in business and leadership roles to the GPO leadership.

In addition to updating members on the past year and the plans going forward, we will be forming the Board that will prepare for the next election and continue to make historic breakthroughs in our local politics. Please consider sitting on the Board! The Federal and Provincial Boards hold one combined meeting monthly. Positions open for election are President, Financial Agent, Communications Chair, Membership Chair, Fundraising Chair, Organizing Chair, Youth Chair and Web Master. Provide notice of your interest to run for any of these positions to the President by December 31.
